About me
I am the founder and maker of Pinkijones from my home studio in Brighton, Uk. I have a passion for print design and screen printing. I love creating unique bold and playful statement garments, using placement prints flowing around the neckline and shoulders.
My work ranges from handprinted bold geometric statement sweatshirts and t-shirts, tea-towels and pouches, notebooks, greeting cards. My love for fluro and vibrant colour and pattern extends in the making of my geometric jewellery.
Fashion
I have a degree in print and embroidery, I was so lucky to work as a print designer in the fashion industry. I have a long history of being a print designer in womenswear studios in London and New York.
My passion for mixing pattern and vibrant colour continues to flow throughout my own personal designs. I'm lucky enough to now be a full time maker.
Vision
I'm my happiest whilst printing, sewing, being surrounded by colour and pattern and deep in creation! I make each piece by hand, each of my pieces is a true labour of love, Garments often taking 2-3 days from start to finish, with each design can have up to 6 colours and various shapes or hand drawn illustrations.
I print using high quality water based inks. Many of my garments have a gold finish too, this is added by hand at the end of the printing process.
With working within the fashion industry, its very important to me that I carefully source from reputable suppliers to guarantee they are using fair-trad organic cotton and all my jewellery is made using recycled off-cuts of leather.
My vibrant garments and jewellery compliment each other and ar often purchased together.
My pouches are all printed and hand sewn by myself and are all lined in Neon pink water resistant fabric. I aim to create bold, striking but sustainable practical pieces of art, to wear and own in confidence, make you feel amazing and hard to resist!
